We are particularly encouraged that the Hon’ble Court has taken cognisance of delays in the trial of patent cases and directed that remedial action be taken, besides directing that this case be fast-tracked. We welcome the observations of the Hon’ble Supreme Court that highly contested commercial cases require immediate attention and disposal, to ensure a suitable commercial environment which is vital to the national interest.
